Cellular Beam

Steel Structure Services

A Cellular Beam is an engineered structural steel beam with circular openings along its web, manufactured by cutting a standard hot-rolled H-beam and re-welding the halves together to increase its structural depth and bending capacity.

Key Components

  • Top Flange: The upper horizontal steel plate that resists compression forces.

  • Bottom Flange: The lower horizontal steel plate that resists tension forces.

  • Web: The vertical middle section of the beam that connects both flanges, containing the cut-out shapes.

  • Openings / Cells: Circular holes punched or cut along the web, designed to accommodate building services.

Key Benefits & Advantages

  • MEP Service Integration: Utility pipes, electrical conduits, and air-conditioning ducts can pass directly through the web openings, reducing the required floor-to-ceiling height.

  • High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Offers excellent bending stiffness while reducing the overall weight of the steel structure.

  • Cost Efficiency: Decreases overall material usage and lowers loads on building foundations.

  • Long Clear Spans: Perfect for wide-open interior spaces that require fewer interior columns, as seen in modern offices and showrooms.

A Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) is an advanced steel structure system where all primary and secondary components are custom-designed, engineered, and fabricated in a factory before being transported and rapidly assembled on-site.

Key Components

  • Primary Framing: The main structural skeleton, consisting of heavy steel columns and tapered rafters that form rigid frames to support vertical and lateral loads.

  • Secondary Framing: Cold-formed steel members—such as purlins (for roofs), girts (for walls), and eave struts—that hold the cladding and transfer loads to the primary frame.

  • Roof and Wall Cladding: Exterior coverings typically made of profiled steel sheets, metal roofing, or insulated sandwich panels.

  • Bracing Systems: Cross-bracing, rod bracing, and portal frames that provide longitudinal stability against wind and seismic forces.

  • Accessories: Add-ons like skylights, wall lights, roof ventilators, gutters, downspouts, and crane systems.

Key Benefits & Advantages

  • Fast Construction: Pre-fabricated parts mean assembly is mostly bolted, reducing construction time by 30% to 50% compared to conventional buildings.

  • Cost-Effective: Optimized structural design (using tapered sections where stress is highest) minimizes steel waste and lowers labor costs.

  • Large Clear Spans: Enables wide, column-free interior spaces of up to 100 meters wide, ideal for warehouses, factories, and aircraft hangars.

  • High Quality Control: Components are manufactured in controlled factory environments under strict engineering tolerances.

  • Easy Expansion: Buildings can be easily extended or modified in the future by adding more bays or frames.

  • Low Maintenance: High-quality protective coatings and durable metal panels ensure strong resistance to weather, rust, and wear.

Technical standard

Advanced Steel Structure Engineering

Our Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) are specifically custom-designed for heavy industrial applications, with structural steel columns and beams engineered to safely withstand maximum loads and severe storm-force winds in accordance with controlled engineering standards.

Standard calculation method

We use high-tensile steel and bolt connections for all structural joints, cutting on-site installation time by up to 30% and efficiently reducing material waste.

  • Design Standard: AISC, ASD/LRFD

  • Maximum Wind Load: Per DPT standard (or In accordance with DPT specifications)

  • Steel Standard: SM520 or equivalent

  • Anti-rust System: High-quality anti-rust paint or hot-dip galvanized
